It was a long and tough year,
and as it was coming to a close,
it got worse.
Perhaps its a prerequisite of what is to come,
Or a sign that its all over,
I don't know.
All I know,
is that I want all the bad things behind me,
And start this year fresh and anew.
I want to do better and be better.
All talk no action gets no one no where,
And actions speaks louder than words,
So I'll take baby steps.
Every small contribution is part of a bigger effort of a greater good.
And would God please stop reminding me,
And stop me from brooding over it too much.
